MINISTRIES

The ministries at Waypoint are all about connection.

We want you to connect to God in a unique and real way.

… After all, we exist to be a place on a journey where a traveler can change or adjust their course toward Christ.

  • If you would like more information about any of the ministries at Waypoint, contact our family pastor at mike@waypointcommunity.com
  • There are always Volunteer positions available! If you’re interested in finding out how your spiritual gifts and talents can further the Kingdom of God, contact our administrative pastor at nick@waypointcommunity.com and we’ll get you connected and serving!

We want children to find a place where they feel loved and accepted, come to know Christ, and continue to grow through fun, engaging, life-changing experiences.

We want parents to find a place where their lives are impacted by what they see happening in the lives of their children. Parents should feel encouraged and supported as they nurture their child’s spiritual development.

Middle School at The Point: 6th grade – 8th grade. Wednesday Nights 5:30pm – 7:30pm
High School at The Point: 9th grade – 12th grade. Wednesday nights 7:00pm – 8:45pm

A key aspect of our ministry is building relationships. We accomplish this by meeting with students through the school year and doing hangouts outside of Waypoint during the school year and summer. Keep an eye out for future events like Cedar Point, Winter Retreats, bonfires, and much more. All these events give us a different way to connect with students. You never know what will happen next!

At Waypoint we love to worship God by singing to Him. Our worship is modern, incorporating instruments and crowd participation every week. We also use technology to enhance the experience (lights and video screens, for example). You’ll hear many of the songs you might already listen to on the radio, plus a few that you haven’t heard in a while. We try not to concern ourselves with what’s trendy. We focus on finding a meaningful connection with God in every song we sing.
